Er så glad for denne opplevelsen🌞 Flott kveld og et magisk lys, stor og sterk Verdalslaks som utfordret meg på alle måter. Fisket var litt tregt i løpet av dagen, men vi ga ikke opp. Vi tok en lang pause før siste økta, sammen med min kompis Helge Sundal så la vi en plan. Vi hadde fisket med tyngre flyt/synk kombinasjoner hele dagen grunnet den høye vannstanden. Så på siste økta valgte vi lettere snører og mindre fluer. Dette fungerte perfekt for min del, og med Compact flyt body og s1/s3 spiss og en Ullsokk variant i Phatagorva hovedfargeinntrykk, så dro det til knallhardt på relativt kort kastelengde. Så denne laksen utfordret meg til det ytterste, det var kløkt og tålmodighet som utløste at hugget kom, og når fighten var i gang så var det bare å være 100 pros fokusert. Denne laksen hadde stått en stund på elva og var styggserk og klar for å utfordre en laksefisker til «the bitter end». Helge var både fotograf og håver. Denne fiskeplassen er ikke enkel å lande fisk på, så det var godt å få hjelp. 99 cm c&r😊 Takker Austnes Salmon Lodge og Ola Lerfald for denne opplevelsen😎

Granbo Flyfishings laksefiskekurs for damer er da avsluttet for denne gang.
Årets deltagere er en trivelig og særdeles ivrig gjeng. De sto på og trente fluekasting mange timer hver dag, under tildels vanskelige forhold med både synkende og stigende elv. Regn, vind og trange plasser og fiske på, men de ga aldri opp. Det ble derfor landet 2 flotte lakser, og 3 sjøørret, samt at en av deltagerne fikk fighte med en stor og sterk laks som gikk av med seieren tilslutt, noe som også ga fin erfaring til kommende fighter.
Tilbakemeldingen på kurset var meget bra, både kursvald og kursagenda ble godkjent.
Jeg takker Marielle Strindlund, Marianne Kaffemarte Merli, Bente-Kristin Hognes, og Mona Larsson for fine dager elvelangs Verdalselva.
